EstateTagSale: the tag, the register and the settlement statement · Updated September 8, 2026

An estate sale is two jobs wearing one hat. There is the sale itself (people in a stranger's kitchen negotiating hard over a butter dish), and there is the paperwork behind it, which is you at 11pm trying to remember whether lot 214 went for forty dollars or four, and which of those two numbers you already told the daughter in Ohio. EstateTagSale is built for the second job. It covers the pass where you photograph and tag every lot, the sale day register the crew works from, and the settlement statement that closes the file.

A note on how you found it. premierdelaclasse.lol is a satirical leaderboard where rank is bought, not earned. There is no jury, no rubric, and no panel of estate sale veterans deliberating in a back room. EstateTagSale holds the spot its bid pays for, and the live figures are already sitting on the leaderboard page, so there is no reason to repeat them here. Everything below is about the software, which is the part that has to survive a Saturday.

What the software actually does

EstateTagSale organizes a sale week as a sequence of passes through the house rather than a pile of features. First pass: photograph each lot, assign a category, set a price, generate a numbered tag. The numbering is scoped so two taggers working opposite ends of the house do not both produce a lot 112. Second pass: the register, which runs on tablets or phones, records cash, card and split payments, applies the markdown schedule, and logs price overrides with an audit trail, so a Sunday discount is a recorded decision instead of a rumor. Third pass: holds, deposits and pickup scheduling, because the sofa someone left a deposit on is a promise, and promises fall out of heads. Last pass: the settlement statement, itemized by lot with original price, final price and deductions, exported as a PDF for the family.

Markdown scheduling is handled per category rather than per item, with holdbacks for the categories you refuse to discount. Contracts, insurance certificates and crew hours attach to the house, which means the sale file and the compliance file end up being the same file.

Who it is for

This is software for people who run estate sales as a business, week after week, in somebody else's house. The roles baked into the product tell the story: taggers, a register lead, an owner, each seeing the slice of the catalog their job actually needs. The larger plans go further and assume several crews, concurrent sales and more than one owner splitting the commission, which is a fair description of the company the product is drawn around.

The inverse is worth saying plainly. If you are clearing one relative's house once, a monthly subscription and a role hierarchy are the wrong shape of tool, and no amount of tag numbering will make a one time job feel like an operation. This is aimed at the crew that will be doing the whole thing again next weekend in a different zip code.

Pricing, in dollars, as the vendor states it

Three tiers, billed monthly, priced by how many crews you put in the field. One Crew is $49 a month (up to 3 taggers and 1 register station). Company is $109 a month (up to 10 taggers and 3 register stations, plus holds and deposits, contracts and crew hours, sales tax by jurisdiction with a remittance summary, and a buyer list with sale history). Multi Crew is $219 a month (unlimited taggers and stations, concurrent sales in separate houses on the same weekend, per crew reporting, multi owner accounts with separate commission splits, and bulk export for a bookkeeper or CPA).

The part worth noticing is what the bill does not do: it does not move with your gross. EstateTagSale states no percentage of sales, no per sale charge and no per lot fee, with unlimited lots, sales and settlement statements on every tier. Cancellation is done from account settings, which matters more than it sounds in a trade with a real slow season.

The site also publishes outcome statistics (setup time saved, dollars recovered per sale, how fast the books close) and a count of the companies using it. Those are the vendor's numbers, gathered by the vendor, and they belong in the same mental folder as every other vendor's numbers.

What it refuses to do, and the boring reliability parts

Credit where it is due: EstateTagSale states its limits on its own homepage instead of letting you discover them in month two. It does not appraise for you, it does not list to an auction platform, and it does not process the card payment itself. You keep your appraiser, your advertising and your payment processor, and the software works alongside the card reader you already carry. At close you export a CSV or a QuickBooks ready file, with sales tax broken out separately.

Two more things that only matter on the day they fail. Houses have famously bad internet, so tagging and the register keep working offline on a tablet or phone and sync once the signal comes back. And the data belongs to a grieving family as much as it belongs to you: the site states encryption in transit and at rest, nightly offsite backups, no selling or renting or mining of buyer lists, and an export before account closure with deletion within 30 days. None of that demos well. All of it is the reason you do not get the phone call.

Frequently asked questions

What is EstateTagSale's rank today?

As of September 8, 2026, EstateTagSale sits at #101 (96 of 188 in SaaS) on premierdelaclasse.lol, with $2 pledged. The rank is live and moves with every payment.

How much to overtake TidyBlueprint today?

As of September 8, 2026, about $1 on top of EstateTagSale's current total takes it past TidyBlueprint and up to #100. The board updates live with every payment.

What does EstateTagSale do that a spreadsheet does not?

Three things a spreadsheet is bad at: it will not stop two taggers from both writing lot 112, it will not run a checkout station on a tablet with an offline cache, and it will not produce an itemized settlement PDF at close. EstateTagSale is built around those three moments (tag, register, statement) rather than around a grid you maintain by hand at midnight.

How much does EstateTagSale cost, and does it take a cut of the sale?

$49, $109 or $219 a month depending on crew size, and no cut. The site states no percentage of gross, no per sale charge and no per lot fee, with unlimited lots, sales and settlement statements on every plan. Your bill on a slow weekend and your bill on a record weekend are identical.

What does EstateTagSale say it will not do?

It says it does not appraise for you, does not list to an auction platform, and does not process the card payment itself. That is the company's own wording on its own homepage, and it is a more useful sentence than most feature lists.

Does its place on premierdelaclasse.lol mean EstateTagSale is the best estate sale software?

No, and it would be very strange if it did. The leaderboard is satirical and the ranking is bought: EstateTagSale holds the spot its bid pays for, and nothing about that spot was evaluated by anyone. If you want to judge the software, read what it admits it does not do, then price your own crew size against the three tiers.
