The honest version
No fine print games here, so here's the whole thing up front. Premier de la Classe.lol is a satirical ranking of startups where your rank depends on one thing: how much money you put in. That's not a bug, it's the entire joke. This page tells you exactly who runs the site, where they're based, who hosts it, and what your money actually buys. If anything below reads like a disclaimer written to hide something, we screwed up. It's meant to do the opposite.
Who operates this site
Premier de la Classe.lol is operated from France by MLJ, a French company (société registered under a French SIREN number), founded by Julien Jimenez. We're a French company running a site in English for a mostly US audience. We are not a US entity, we don't pretend to be one, and we're not incorporated anywhere in the United States. If you'd like the company registration details (SIREN, registered address, legal form), email us and we'll send them over. Contact: contact@premierdelaclasse.lol.
Where it's hosted
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, California, USA), which serves the pages. Payments are processed by Stripe. We use a couple of other technical providers to keep the lights on, but the front door is Netlify.
What this actually is
Paid visibility on a satirical leaderboard. That's the product. You pay, your rank goes up in fixed $0.30 tiers, and we say so out loud on the site. This is NOT gambling, a lottery, a raffle, a sweepstakes, a game of chance, or a contest. There is no prize, no payout, no winnings, and no randomness, the ranking is fully deterministic and driven only by total dollars contributed. It is also NOT an investment, a security, or a financial product of any kind. You are not buying equity, a token, a return, or a stake in anything. You are buying a spot on a joke chart, and you know it going in.
Payments
All payments run through Stripe in US dollars ($). We never see or store your full card number, Stripe handles that. Charges show up in USD. Prices climb in $0.30 tiers, and what you pay is what you rank. No hidden fees, no surprise upsells, no fake 'last spot at this price' countdowns.
Analytics, with no cookies
We measure traffic with cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (DataFast / Plausible). No tracking cookies, no cross-site profiles, no ad networks following you around. We look at aggregate numbers, page views, referrers, not individual people.
Emails
If you ask for rank alerts, we send them through Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and it actually works the first time, no 'log in to manage your preferences' maze. Stop wanting emails, click once, done.
Your data
We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We collect the minimum we need to run the ranking, take your payment through Stripe, and email you if you asked us to. That's the list. Want your data removed? Email contact@premierdelaclasse.lol and we'll handle it.
Reporting content and takedowns
Company names, brands, and logos on the leaderboard are submitted by contributors themselves, under their own responsibility, and belong to their respective owners. If something on the ranking is unlawful or shouldn't be there, flag it at contact@premierdelaclasse.lol and we'll review it promptly and can pull it without notice.
Applicable law and contact
MLJ is a French company and this site operates under French law; the French courts have jurisdiction over disputes. For anything at all, legal, billing, data, or just to tell us the joke landed, the single point of contact is contact@premierdelaclasse.lol. A real person reads it.
