Nation AI is a consumer AI chatbot sold by subscription at nation.ai. Read on October 13, 2026, its home page greets visitors with "Chat with your AI assistants" and offers to start "for free, with no account needed." Behind that door sits a single chat window split into 25 themed "coaches", each with a first name and a specialty (cooking, sports, languages, law, dating, health questions), plus an image generator and a directory of 15 tool pages, from PDF summaries to an AI detector, that open the same chat. After "a few free messages", the pricing page asks €19 per month, or €9 every two weeks with automatic renewal. Nation AI does not build language models: its pages name models from OpenAI and Mistral, and its footer says it is not affiliated with either. The site belongs to UPLIKE, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) based in Paris that also trades as Botnation, and nation.ai is the English edition of a site published in French at nation.fr and in Spanish at nation.es. Prices are in euros, the Legal Notice refers to French law, and support is described as based in France.

You are reading this on premierdelaclasse.lol, a satirical leaderboard where rank is bought rather than earned. Nation AI holds the spot its bid pays for, nothing more. There is no jury here, no scoring panel, and no verdict: a payment moves a name up the list, and that is the entire mechanism. Everything below sticks to what Nation AI actually does, and leaves the leaderboard theater at the door.

One chat window, 25 named coaches and a shelf of tools

Coaches, images and tools all lead to the same chat. The coach sitemap lists 25 coach pages, and the English home page shows all 25, each with a first name and a role: Alex is the "Generalist AI Assistant", Léa "The AI Virtual Friend", Stan the "AI Fitness Coach", Pierre a health and wellness coach, Anna a "Relationship & Seduction Coach (AI)", Hakim an "AI Math Teacher", Gabriel a legal assistant. The About page states what they are: "Our coaches are virtual assistants. They use artificial intelligence models to generate their answers." The /ai-assistants/ page writes some of them as human biographies, though: Anna, "At age 50", has helped people "in her office, in group workshops, and now online"; Natalie "spent over 25 years in human resources before becoming a headhunter"; Niki is described as "A former photographer and web designer".

Some coaches work on sensitive ground. Pierre's skills include "Everyday symptoms and medical questions", "medications and treatments" and "reading medical tests, analyses and reports", and his page states that "Pierre does not replace a doctor". Léa, the virtual friend, offers "listening and support in expressing emotions" and lists situations of serious distress as out of scope, saying she then points users to an emergency service or a professional. Anna covers "sexuality and intimacy between adults". None of the pages read for this profile states a minimum age for using the service. Under the chat's input box, one line reads: "AI can make mistakes; verify important information."

Beside the coaches, the /image/ page offers image generation and editing inside the same chatbot: create a picture from a sentence, retouch or restyle an existing one, remove a background. It states that "Images you create with Nation AI can be used for personal and professional projects alike", and adds that, according to the U.S. Copyright Office, an image produced entirely by AI is not protected by copyright. The /ai-tools/ directory lists 15 tool pages (PDF summary and translation, rephrasing, an AI detector, a text humanizer, a math solver, dream interpretation, a username generator and more), all leading to the chat. Account functions live in the chat's "Help and tips" menu: activate or reactivate access, download invoices, cancel the subscription, delete history, contact support, and a "Conditions" button.

The models it names, and the Botnation platform behind the chat

Nation AI does not make language models; its footer says it uses other companies' models through "their official APIs", and the names change from page to page. The home page FAQ cites "OpenAI GPT-5, Mistral, and more"; /chat/ and /free-ai/ mention "GPT-5, GPT-4o and GPT-4"; several tool pages, including /legal-ai-in-us-law/ and /ai-to-summarize-a-pdf/, say "currently GPT 5.2"; the prompt generator page says "currently GPT 5.4"; the pricing page speaks of "recent models, such as GPT 6 and Mistral". No page read for this profile establishes which model answers a given message. The footer states that Nation AI "is not affiliated with OpenAI, Mistral, Meta, Google Gemini, or any other large language model (LLM) provider", while using "ChatGPT" and "ChatGPT Image" as link text for its own chat and image pages.

The chat runs on Botnation, the chatbot platform of the same publisher: the widget loads from cbassets.botnation.ai and is served by chatbox.botnation.ai. The /chat/ page calls Nation AI "a chatbot solution developed by the French company Botnation AI", the About page says it is "designed in Rennes and Paris by the Botnation team", and the first line behind the chat's "Conditions" button reads: "This application is made to demonstrate the ease of integration of GPT API from OpenAI on the BOTNATION AI chatbot creation platform." The pricing page sends businesses that want a chatbot of their own to botnation.ai.

The domain has a history. Registered in December 2017, nation.ai appears in web archive captures as a French "Agence Chatbot" page "Propulsé par Botnation" in 2020, then as a redirect to botnation.ai in captures from December 2021 to March 2023, then as a business-facing "Our generative AI solutions" site in 2024, and as the consumer assistant by January 2026. The /chat/ page still presents the service as "ex My Chatbot GPT". That older brand has not gone away: on October 13, 2026, mychatbotgpt.com was online, selling in English a chat built on the same Botnation widget, with "an unlimited plan at 19€ per month" and "a 2-week offer at 9€", and calling itself "part of a broader ecosystem created by Botnation AI".

Prices in euros, a two-week plan that renews itself, and an image cap

The pricing page, /pricing-plans/, went online on October 12, 2026, according to its own structured data, and is not linked from the main menu; /pricing/ redirects to it. It lists three options. The "Free trial" is "€0 to try it out", with "No account or card needed" and "A few free messages". "Unlimited" costs "€19 / month" for "Unlimited messages". The "2-week plan" costs "€9 / 2 weeks" and "Renews every 2 weeks"; the FAQ confirms: "It is a subscription that renews every 2 weeks, at €9." Payment is "secured by Stripe", by card, and the page says both plans can be canceled from the chat's "Help and tips" menu. It labels the two-week plan "Ideal for a one-off need"; at the published prices, 26 renewals add up to €234 over 364 days, against €228 for twelve monthly payments.

"Unlimited" applies to messages. The /image/ page says the subscription includes "50 images per month (generation and editing)", on the same page that promises "no credits to keep track of", while the plan cards on /pricing-plans/ mention "image creation" without that cap. The number of free messages is never given beyond "a few", and the /free-ai/ page, updated on October 8, 2026, still answers "Is Nation AI really free?" with "Yes" and describes a freemium model where "the base is free". The home page shows no amounts at all, and inside the chat, no price appears before an email address is entered.

Currencies are not consistent across the English site. Most pages show euros, but /ai-to-translate-a-pdf/ quotes "$19/month for unlimited use, or $9 for 2 weeks", /rephrase-text-with-ai/ shows a table with "$0", "$9" and "$19/month", and /dream-interpretation-tool-free-online/ writes "$19/month" before giving "€19/month unlimited, or €9 for 2 weeks" in its own FAQ. The rephrasing page also calls the short plan a "2-week pass" with "Extended access for 14 days", without mentioning renewal. None of the pricing texts read mentions sales tax or VAT.

Big numbers, press logos and pages that disagree

The home page displays three animated counters: a user count that climbs to 37 "millions", a "4.8 /5" average satisfaction and "3 seconds" to get an answer, with no source or method given. The French edition, nation.fr, showed 39 on the same counter that day. Coach pages add unsourced "Conversations started" figures, from 340,945 for one coach to 14,813,127 for another. On the pricing page, an "As featured in" band shows logos of French outlets: TF1, LCI, Les Echos, Le Parisien, Le Point, Ouest-France, La Dépêche and CNews; the home page's "They talk about us" block shows a partly different set of eight logos. None links to an article or carries a date. Trustpilot has a profile for nation.ai: on October 13, 2026, displayed under the name "Nation", it was unclaimed and showed a TrustScore of 2.5 out of 5 ("Poor") based on 5 reviews in French, four with one star (April to September 2026) and one with five stars (December 2024). That score can change with each new review.

Some tool pages say one thing while the coach behind them says another. The AI detector page's title calls it "Very Efficient", the page promises "High detection accuracy" and shows scores such as "60% AI / 40% human"; the page of Victor, the coach who runs it, says he never gives "a misleadingly precise percentage", only a low, moderate or high index that is not proof. The humanizer page's title ends with "Bypass AI detector", while its coach, Marion, rules out guaranteeing that a text "will pass an AI text detector" or reach "0% AI".

The "Legal AI in U.S. Law" page promises "a compass (not a verdict) for U.S. law", but the /ai-tools/ directory describes the same tool as "AI specialized in French law", and its "Chat with Gabriel" button opens a coach who helps "mainly under French law", with skills such as "civil partnership (PACS)" and "employment tribunal". Other English pages keep French references: the administrative assistant, Sophie, mentions the CAF and other French agencies, and the directory describes the spell checker as "A tool that corrects in French".

Publisher, legal pages, data and what is missing

Nation AI is not a U.S. company. Its Legal Notice, last modified on February 20, 2026, reads "Owner: UPLIKE", in Paris, and says the site is hosted "on European servers (Belgium) by Kinsta". In the French public register, SIREN 751 163 866 belongs to UPLIKE, an SAS created on March 12, 2012, active and headquartered in Paris. A February 2020 notice in BODACC, France's official bulletin of commercial notices, gives Botnation as its trade name, and the chat's "Conditions" text names "Uplike - BOTNATION sas" with the same SIREN. The same company publishes nation.fr and nation.es: the legal notice of nation.fr names UPLIKE and addresses the users of nation.ai, and the French domain registry lists Uplike as the holder of nation.fr. The site shows prices in euros and promises "Team and customer support in France"; it names no U.S. company as owner or seller.

The Legal Notice is the only legal text published as a page. Written in English, it relies on French statutes, cites "the European Directive of October 24, 1995", and states that "The site is not declared to the CNIL because it does not collect personal information"; the chat asks for an email address to activate access, and the contact form asks for a name and an email. The notice refers to "Specific additional conditions" in the help menu of each application. Behind the chat's "Conditions" button, a text mostly in French says only the data needed for the subscription is collected, such as the email address used for verification codes, that data is not used to train AI, and refers to OpenAI's privacy policy; it says nothing about price, renewal, refunds or withdrawal.

What cannot be found: terms of sale, a privacy policy, a refund policy. The /terms-of-service/ link on the site's /sitemap/ page redirects to the home page, as do /terms/, /terms-of-use/, /privacy-policy/ and /refund-policy/, checked on October 13, 2026. On data, the pages promise "Designed in France, hosted in Europe", say "Your conversations and documents are not used to train artificial intelligence models" and "We do not share your data with third parties without your consent", and let users delete their history; they do not say where conversations sent to model providers' APIs are processed. The home and pricing pages load Cookiebot, Matomo and WonderPush, and /chat/ adds a Google Ads tag and Microsoft's UET tag. Support runs through a support chatbot, WhatsApp or a contact form, with no stated hours or response time.

The /free-ai/ page, updated on October 8, 2026, still describes a freemium model where "the base is free".

Yes, according to the pricing page, which says it "Renews every 2 weeks" and calls it "a subscription that renews every 2 weeks, at €9". One tool page, /rephrase-text-with-ai/, still calls it a "2-week pass" without mentioning renewal. Cancellation is done from the chat's "Help and tips" menu.

The site names several, and they differ by page: GPT-4, GPT-4o, GPT-5, "GPT 5.2", "GPT 5.4", "GPT 6" and Mistral all appear.
