Lash extensions have a scheduling problem that has nothing to do with the lashes. A client who should sit down every three weeks reappears in week seven, apologizes, and pays for a full set instead of a fill. LashRetention exists to catch that drift while it is still a drift. Its own homepage puts it bluntly: "Put your regulars back in the chair on week three, not week seven" (lashretention.com). It is fill cycle software for lash and brow studios, and it is upfront that it is not the booking system.

LashRetention appears on premierdelaclasse.lol, a satirical leaderboard where position is not earned, reviewed or voted on. It is bought. LashRetention holds the spot its bid pays for, which is the entire mechanism and the entire joke. Nothing there is a verdict on the software, so the rest of this page sticks to what the product publicly says it does.

What it actually does between appointments

The logging happens at the bed and is meant to take about twenty seconds: style, curl and diameter, the map, the adhesive and its lot number, and the arrival retention the artist actually saw. Client habits go into the same record (gym frequency, makeup routine) along with photo and message consent dates and any allergy or sensitivity the artist has flagged.

From that history the software sets a fill window per client instead of applying a flat three week rule, using shed rate, humidity, past arrival retention and those habits. The site's own example is one client on a fourteen day fill and another on twenty four. A rebooking prompt goes out four days before the window closes, in wording the studio writes itself, carrying the booking link the studio already uses. It is capped at one prompt per cycle and stops the moment the client books.

Aftercare runs separately, on two timers: one message roughly two hours after the appointment while the adhesive is still curing, and one on day three when habits set in. Both are editable per service, so a lash lift does not receive extension advice, and a client who opts out of rebooking prompts keeps receiving aftercare. Every message carries a one word opt out.

The retention score, and what a score is not

Each client carries a score from 1 to 100, built from arrival retention, cycle drift, cancellation history and how they respond to prompts. Anything under 60 lands on the morning at-risk list, described as roughly five names waiting before the first appointment: who slipped past a window, who cancelled twice, who has ignored two prompts.

The useful caveat comes from the site itself: scores need about two logged visits per client before they mean much, which it translates into a first useful list around week five. A fresh import is a spreadsheet with ambitions, not an assessment.

Worth saying plainly, since eyes are involved: this is scheduling and record keeping software, not a health tool. The allergy or sensitivity line is a note the artist flags, and nothing on the site suggests the software does more with it than show it back at the next appointment. It does not assess eye health, does not interpret adhesive reactions and claims neither. Anything in that territory belongs with a qualified professional, not with a fill window.

There is one genuinely useful side effect, and it is about product rather than people: because adhesive lot numbers sit in every set record, a studio can check whether a run of poor retention lines up with a new lot or a humid week rather than blaming everyone's pillowcase. The packaged version of that analysis starts on the $59 plan.

Pricing, and what it is priced by

Three monthly plans, all priced by chairs rather than by clients. Solo Artist is $25 a month for one artist and one chair. Studio is $59 a month for up to three artists and three chairs. Studio Team is $119 a month for up to ten artists across two locations. Clients, fill cycle records and aftercare messages are unlimited on all three.

Studio adds chair value and revenue per hour reporting, shared records across the team, photo history with consent capture, adhesive lot and humidity analysis, and separate prompt wording per artist. Studio Team adds per artist rebook and retention benchmarks, a front desk view of the day's at-risk list, an apprentice review queue, exportable payroll ready reports and an onboarding session for the whole team.

The site states no annual contract, no setup fee and no charge per client record, with cancellation at any time from account settings. No free trial is advertised, so the cheapest way to test it is the $25 plan and one month of paying attention.

What it needs from you, and what it will not do

It is not a booking system and does not pretend otherwise. It sits alongside Vagaro, Square Appointments, GlossGenius, Acuity or Boulevard and reads a daily appointment export from whichever calendar the studio already runs. That is the dependency worth understanding before signing up: if the daily export stops arriving, the fill windows quietly go stale and the morning list starts describing a studio that no longer exists.

Setup is described as an afternoon for a solo artist: get the client list in, point the software at that daily export, and write your own prompt and aftercare copy. The prompts are supposed to sound like the studio, which only works if someone actually sits down and writes them.

On data: records are encrypted in transit and at rest on SOC 2 aligned hosting in the United States, and the company states that client data is never sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Photos are stored only when the artist takes them and can be deleted per client at any time. If the account closes, the full history stays downloadable as CSV for thirty days and is deleted after that, which is a real deadline rather than a suggestion.

The site also publishes its own figures: 612 US lash and brow studios on the platform, 194,800 rebooking prompts sent in the last twelve months, and a median lift of 41% in visits per client per year. All of it comes from the company rather than from an audit, and deserves the same skepticism as any vendor doing arithmetic about itself.

Frequently asked questions

What is LashRetention's rank today?

As of September 8, 2026, LashRetention sits at #78 (73 of 188 in SaaS) on premierdelaclasse.lol, with $2 pledged. The rank is live and moves with every payment.

How much to overtake VeilFittings today?

As of September 8, 2026, about $1 on top of LashRetention's current total takes it past VeilFittings and up to #77. The board updates live with every payment.

Does LashRetention replace my booking system?

No, and its own site says most studios keep the calendar they already have. Clients keep booking through Vagaro, Square Appointments, GlossGenius, Acuity or Boulevard, and LashRetention reads a daily appointment export from whichever one is in use. It is the layer that notices nobody has rebooked, not the calendar itself.

What does LashRetention cost?

$25 a month for one artist and one chair, $59 a month for up to three, and $119 a month for up to ten artists across two locations. Pricing goes by chairs, not by clients or messages, which are unlimited on every plan. The site states no annual contract, no setup fee and no charge per client record, and advertises no free trial.

How soon is the retention score worth trusting?

The site sets that bar itself: about two logged visits per client, which it puts at roughly week five. Before that, the 1 to 100 score is running on an import and an assumption. It is also a scheduling signal and nothing more. It says nothing about a client's eyes, skin or tolerance for adhesive, and the software makes no such claim.

Will the automated messages annoy my clients?

Rebooking prompts are capped at one per fill cycle, and they stop immediately once the client books. Every message includes a one word opt out. Aftercare is treated as a separate stream, so opting out of rebooking prompts does not switch off the two hour and day three aftercare messages, which is worth knowing before promising a client total silence.

Does its listing on premierdelaclasse.lol mean it is better than the alternatives?

No. That leaderboard sells position, so the listing holds the spot its bid pays for and nothing more. It is not a review, a test or a measure of quality. Judge LashRetention on its pricing page and its daily export requirement, not on a board that takes payment.
