The daily board resets every night at midnight (Paris).MatCount is a scheduling and pay system for yoga studios in the United States. It runs the teacher side of the week: who is available, who takes the Tuesday morning class when the regular teacher wakes up sick, and what everybody is owed at the end of the month. Students never see it. Your booking platform keeps them.
A word on where you found this. premierdelaclasse.lol is a satirical leaderboard: it judges nothing, it measures nothing, and every place on it is bought. MatCount holds the spot its bid pays for, and that is the whole mechanism. No jury, no audit, no yoga studio was evaluated. What follows describes the product itself, based on what MatCount publishes about it.
What MatCount actually does
Setup happens once: the studio loads its recurring weekly grid, its rooms and its teacher rates. Each teacher then marks recurring availability and blocks off the weeks they are away, from their phone. There is nothing to install, it runs in a phone browser, which is a quietly good decision for a workforce that changes every season.
The core loop is the sub request. When a class needs cover, the request goes only to the teachers qualified for that style and free at that hour, and the first one to claim it takes the class. The claim then propagates: studio board, teacher calendars, booking platform. Nobody has to remember to update the public schedule, which is the step everybody forgets when coverage runs on group texts at midnight.
Pay is assembled from classes actually taught, with base rates, workshop rates and head count bonuses applied automatically, then exported as CSV or PDF. Every request, claim, decline and rate change is logged with a timestamp, so the month end conversation about who taught what has a record instead of two conflicting memories.
The independent contractor angle, and where it stops
MatCount says it is built around offering classes, not assigning them. Requests go out to teachers who match their own stated availability, and a teacher claims or declines without a nudge from the studio. The system records what each teacher agreed to teach and at which contracted rate, which is the kind of paperwork an accountant asks for.
Useful, and worth being precise about: this is a documentation posture, not a legal ruling. MatCount does not file taxes and does not issue 1099s, and the site says so plainly, telling studios to keep their payroll provider and their CPA. Software that keeps a clean record of who chose to teach what is not the same thing as software that settles worker classification. Read that twice before you decide the problem is solved.
Pricing, and what each plan counts
Three published plans, billed monthly in dollars. Single Studio at $49 a month covers one location and up to 15 teachers, with the availability board, vacation blocks, one-tap sub requests, the pay run with CSV and PDF export, and booking platform sync. Studio Plus at $99 a month adds an unlimited roster, multiple rate tiers, workshop splits, head count bonuses, escalating requests with reminders, manager accounts with permissions, an onboarding call and a schedule import. Two Locations at $199 a month adds a shared teacher pool, per location pay runs, cross location rate rules, travel time rules and a named support contact. Three locations or more get a custom quote through a form.
The terms are the interesting part: no setup fee, no annual contract, no per teacher charge, so a roster that is half substitutes bills the same as a roster of regulars, within whatever teacher count your plan allows. Cancellation happens from the billing screen, the plan stops at month end, and you can export schedule history, teacher list and pay records as CSV. The account stays readable for 30 days afterward. No free trial is advertised, so the cheapest way to test it is one month of the smallest plan.
What it does not do, and what to check before you sign
It is not a booking platform and does not pretend to be. Students, memberships and payments stay exactly where they are. MatCount syncs both directions with Mindbody, Momence, Walla and WellnessLiving; everything else goes through calendar feeds and CSV imports. If your studio runs on something outside that list, confirm what the sync actually looks like before you move your schedule over.
There is no student side, no marketing funnel, no app store listing. It is an administrative tool: it moves names into slots and turns those slots into a payment line. It makes no claim about what happens on the mat, nothing about it addresses teaching quality, injury or anybody's health, and none of it is medical advice.
Whatever performance figures a vendor publishes for coverage speed or time saved are the vendor's own numbers, gathered by the vendor, from the customers who stayed. Nobody in this category publishes the studios that quit. Treat those figures as marketing, then run one real month of your own schedule and compare.
Frequently asked questions
What is MatCount's rank today?
As of September 8, 2026, MatCount sits at #87 (82 of 188 in SaaS) on premierdelaclasse.lol, with $2 pledged. The rank is live and moves with every payment.
How much to overtake ReformerRoster today?
As of September 8, 2026, about $1 on top of MatCount's current total takes it past ReformerRoster and up to #86. The board updates live with every payment.
What does MatCount cost?
Three plans, billed monthly in dollars: $49 a month for Single Studio (one location, up to 15 teachers), $99 a month for Studio Plus (unlimited roster, multiple rate tiers, workshops, escalating requests, manager accounts), and $199 a month for Two Locations (shared teacher pool, per location pay runs, travel time rules). Three locations or more get a custom quote. There is no setup fee, no annual contract and no per teacher charge, and no free trial is advertised.
Does it replace Mindbody or whatever booking software we already run?
No, and the site is direct about it. MatCount runs the teacher side of the schedule while your booking platform keeps handling student reservations, memberships and payments. It syncs both directions with Mindbody, Momence, Walla and WellnessLiving, and falls back to calendar feeds and CSV imports for other systems. Budget for both tools, not one.
Does MatCount handle taxes and 1099s?
No. It builds the pay run from classes actually taught and exports the result as CSV or PDF, which your payroll provider or CPA then uses. MatCount states that it does not file taxes and does not issue 1099s. Its contractor friendly design (classes offered rather than assigned, with a timestamped record of who claimed what) is documentation, not legal cover.
Does its listing on premierdelaclasse.lol say anything about the product?
It says nothing about the product. premierdelaclasse.lol is a satirical leaderboard where placement is purchased, and MatCount holds the spot its bid pays for. Nothing was tested, compared or scored, and no claim is made about MatCount against any other tool. Judge it on its own pricing page, its integration list and one real month of your own schedule.
