The daily board resets every night at midnight (Paris).Every wig studio has the same drawer. Inside it: index cards with head measurements, a sticky note carrying a supplier purchase order number, and a document called letter_final_v3 that somebody retypes from scratch whenever a client needs paperwork for her insurer. StrandRestore is the software version of emptying that drawer. It opens a fitting record at the consultation, stores the seven cap measurements and the hairline photos, logs the unit and the supplier order the same afternoon, builds the cranial prosthesis letter from data that is already typed in, and then tracks what the carrier did about it.
Now the part about the ranking you came from. premierdelaclasse.lol is a satirical leaderboard where rank is bought, not earned, judged or awarded. There is no jury, no rubric and no panel of wig industry experts deliberating in a back room. StrandRestore holds the spot its bid pays for, and that is the whole mechanism. The leaderboard page shows the live figures, so there is nothing to restate here. This page only explains what the product does, which is a different question from what it paid.
What is actually inside a fitting record
The unit of work is the client record, and it starts at the consultation. Intake, then seven cap measurements (circumference, front to nape, the ear to ear pair, temple to temple, nape width, crown position), then hairline photos. That is the part most studios currently keep on a card, which is fine until the client comes back in eight months and the card is in a different drawer, or in a different handwriting, or gone.
The same record then carries the order: base construction, cap size, density, length, color, supplier, purchase order number, promised delivery date and current status. The order board exists so that "where is her unit" becomes a question you answer by looking rather than by remembering. Add appointment types with checklists and exports to CSV and PDF for your accountant, and the account is essentially one long paper trail per client that happens to be searchable.
Nothing here is clinical. StrandRestore does not diagnose anything, does not treat anything and offers no medical advice. It is a filing system for a business that happens to sit next to oncology and alopecia care, which is precisely why the filing has to be good.
The cranial prosthesis letter, and the promise it does not make
The letter builder is the reason most studios would look at this at all. It auto populates the itemized cost, the service date, the prescribing physician, the diagnosis reference and the studio credentials, uses cranial prosthesis wording rather than the word wig, and prints on your letterhead so the client can leave with it the same day. Higher tiers add multiple templates and carrier memory, so the extra document a particular insurer demanded last spring is on file the next time you write to them.
StrandRestore is admirably blunt about the ceiling here. Its own FAQ says: "The letter is not a claim decision, and no vendor can promise one." That is the correct sentence, and it is worth repeating before anyone buys on hope. What software can do is remove the boring reasons a document gets bounced: missing itemization, missing service date, missing physician reference, the wrong terminology. Whether the carrier reimburses is the carrier's call, and no wording engine changes that.
The site also publishes owner reported improvement figures for hours saved and claims recovered. Those are the vendor's own marketing numbers, collected from customers rather than audited by anyone, so read them the way you read every number on a pricing site: as a claim, not as a forecast for your studio.
Pricing, printed in dollars on the page
Three tiers, all monthly. Single Studio is $45 a month for one location and up to two fitters, and includes unlimited fitting records, the seven point measurement sheet, one letter template, the order board, the claim log, CSV and PDF export, and email support answered within a business day. Studio Plus is $95 a month for one location and up to six staff accounts, adding multiple letter templates, carrier memory, appointment types with checklists, photo attachments and access logs. Two Locations is $189 a month for two storefronts and fifteen staff accounts, with per location and combined reporting, a shared supplier catalog, client transfers between locations, quarterly review calls and priority support.
The published terms are refreshingly free of the usual traps: no setup fee, no charge per letter, and no percentage skimmed off a reimbursed claim. You cancel yourself in the billing screen, the plan stops at the end of the paid month, and you export everything to PDF and CSV first. The archive is kept for thirty days before deletion, and the client records stay the studio's property throughout. Pricing on a live site can change, so confirm the current figures on the vendor's own pricing page before you build a budget around them.
Who it fits, and who will find it thin
The target is explicit: owner operators and small studios, roughly one to six fitters across one or two locations, doing oncology fittings, alopecia areata, trichotillomania and other hair loss work where documentation actually matters. If your week involves writing the same letter for the fourth time and then losing track of whether anyone followed the claim, this is aimed squarely at you.
It will feel thin elsewhere. A salon that never touches insurance is paying for a letter builder it will never open. A group with more than two locations is past the published tiers and needs to ask what happens next. Anyone hunting for a clinical record system, a full scheduling suite or a guarantee of reimbursement is in the wrong building.
On security, the site describes encryption at rest in United States data centers, TLS in transit, role based access limited to accounts the studio creates, access logs on the higher tiers, and a stated promise that data is not sold or used for training. It does not publish a certification list, so if your state or your carriers require specific compliance paperwork, ask for it in writing before you migrate a single client file.
Frequently asked questions
What is StrandRestore's rank today?
As of September 8, 2026, StrandRestore sits at #82 (77 of 188 in SaaS) on premierdelaclasse.lol, with $2 pledged. The rank is live and moves with every payment.
How much to overtake GlowIntake today?
As of September 8, 2026, about $1 on top of StrandRestore's current total takes it past GlowIntake and up to #81. The board updates live with every payment.
What does StrandRestore cost, and are there hidden fees?
Three published plans: $45 a month (one location, up to two fitters), $95 a month (one location, up to six staff accounts) and $189 a month (two locations, fifteen staff accounts). The site states no setup fee, no per letter charge and no percentage taken from a reimbursed claim, with monthly billing and cancellation from the billing screen. Check the vendor's own pricing page for the current figures before you commit, because pricing pages move.
Will the letter get my client's claim approved?
No, and StrandRestore does not say it will. Its own FAQ states that the letter is not a claim decision and that no vendor can promise one. What the builder does is produce a document containing the things carriers routinely ask for: cranial prosthesis terminology, the prescribing physician and diagnosis reference, itemized costs, the service date and the studio's credentials. That removes the clerical reasons for a bounce. The decision itself belongs to the insurer.
Where do client records live, and what happens if I cancel?
The site describes records encrypted at rest in United States data centers with TLS in transit, access restricted to the accounts the studio creates, role based permissions, access logs on the higher tiers, and no selling of data or use of it for training. If you cancel, you do it yourself in the billing screen, the plan runs out the paid month, you export everything as PDF and CSV, and the archive is held for thirty days before deletion. The records remain the studio's property.
Why is StrandRestore listed on premierdelaclasse.lol?
Because it paid to be. premierdelaclasse.lol is a satirical leaderboard where rank is bought outright, so the listing holds the spot its bid pays for and nothing more. It is not a review, not a test, not an award and not a comparison against anyone else. Read the ranking as advertising with a scoreboard theme, read this page as a description of the product, and judge the software on a demo with one genuinely difficult client file in hand.
